About the Business
Established in 2003, after serving an apprenticeship and being unable to find a company to take me on, I started out as a self employed electrician. I soon found my services were in demand, as a lot of bad press regarding rogue tradesmen was in the headlines.
In 2005, the industry changed, with the onslaught of Part P of the building regulations, whereby most electrical works now had to be notified to the local area building control. I applied as a Domestic Installer, to the NICEIC in January of that year and became the NICs first female registered installer. In 2008 I became an Approved Contractor, as I was finding my scope of work growing to involve Periodic Inspections, and Commercial work not covered under the Domestic Scheme.
