We are qualified to City & Guilds 2377-200 - Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment and IEE Wiring Regulations 17th Edition BS7671. We particularly aim our service towards small businesses. If you are thinking about PAT testing, then you should probably get it done! By Law all Businesses and Organisations have a responsibility to ensure that their electrical equipment is safe to use. The Health & Safety at Work Act puts the duty of care upon both the employer and the employee to ensure the safety of all persons using the premises. This includes any employees, guests, visitors and general public who may attend your premises. It is important that any electrical appliances are safe to use and PAT testing on a regular basis is the best way to ensure this. The small print in any Buildings Insurance or Public Liability policy may request that electrical equipment is adequately maintained.
