About the Business
1st Electricians are a family business run by husband and wife team (Rob & Jacquie). We started trading in 1988 after I left the North West Electricity Board (Norweb) to follow my dream of running my own business, with my wife running the office. Over the previous 20 years I have trained many electrical apprentices, including some of my own family. I am a perfectionist by nature and my emphasis is always on quality and safety before profit. I pride myself on the fact that I have never knowingly let anybody down which I achieve through a mix of good time management, modern technology and old fashioned values and customer service. I worked for the North West Electricity Board for approximately 10 years, during which time I served 2 electrical apprenticeships. One as an electrician and one as a linesman on the overhead power lines.
